Kate and Clancy's June 4 litter is nine weeks old! We're busy
with arrangements for the transfer to their new homes.
Ocassionally I'm asked if I ship puppies, but most people who
read my website assume, correctly, that we don't ship puppies at
all. They travel well in their small under-the-seat
carriers with one of us or with their new owners, and people are
surprised that the puppies are relaxed and fall asleep so easily
to the hum of the engines. Individual portraits are on
Kate's 2010 E Litter.
This will be our last update
on this litter but we expect to have puppies again next Spring.
I'll spend some of the intervening time editing my collection of
past puppies' photos and I'll expand the "Past Puppies" page
with their many charming grown-up faces. Kate's former
puppy Nutmeg was one of the bridesmaids in her owners' wedding!
Tip modeled a raincoat in one of this past winter's Land's End
catalogs, and serious and thoughtful Joe acquired Maddie's puppy
Annie as an impish, flirty and goofy sister. It's so fun
for me to see the puppies all grown up.
Ethan and Emory
have been available and both currently have families with an
interest in them. To give them the best chance of finding
loving homes at the same time their litter mates leave, I'm
describing them as available. As always, I can be
contacted at 208 866-6970.
And last week's blithe
description of crate training? Peaceful and cooperative?
Ha. We've had some interrupted nights. But we're
making progress, and the puppies do race each other to see who
can get to a crate first. They just need to hold those
thoughts while they drift off into a sweet bedtime dream - and
enable us to do the same!

tri-color puppies, nicely marked and very sweet.
